Careers at Proactive offer various types of IT and professional challenges. Most IT related positions are "deployable" unless otherwise noted as "non-deployable". A deployable position means the employee must be capable of meeting customer deployment standards for medical, dental, and personal administrative readiness. Additionally, each employee might need to obtain an interim security clearance and then pass a follow-on background investigation. Deployed living conditions should be viewed from a "with soldiers" perspective. In most cases, these conditions are austere and in some cases hostile. PCI is looking for employees who can bring IT value to remote customers, in challenging environments, and work as a member of a team.

VSAT Engineer - Junior (Afghanistan/Iraq)

Proactive Communcations, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) Candidate should have VSAT, COMTECH FDMA/SCPC, C band, and 2.4m and 3.8m install experience. Prefer someone with Global VSAT Forum Level 3S certification. Candidates with MS desktop administration experiences are preferred; MSCDA certification. Cabling (ISP/OSP) experience is a plus. Candidate should have Cisco router and switch configuration exposure. High school diploma/GED, 2-3 years experience. Will provide VSAT training if strong otherwise

Cisco Voice Engineer (Killeen, TX)

Proactive Communcations, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) Candidate must possess current CCNP or CCVP certification and 3-5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience with Cisco CallManager, Cisco CallManager Express, gateways, and Unity voicemail systems. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining a large distributed Cisco voice architecture with multiple points of presence. Duties include: preparing performance reports, drawings document configuration changes, change/migration plan documentation. Candidate will be first-line support for services interruptions and voice routing issues and to support phone moves, adds and changes (MACs). Candidate must be able to escalate unresolved problems to corporate Network Operation and Security Center (NOSC) to expedite resolution and work directly with support engineering. High school diploma/GED.

Secret Security clearance
Security+/Network+, ITIL V3 Foundations
Experience with conducting site surveys, network, routing, and voice protocols
VoIP Experience/Certifications
BS degree in CS or other IT related discipline or equivalent work experience
