Content Filtering – PCI has the capability to filter and monitor the content of a multitude of networks based on the specific needs of the customer. Content filtering improves employee productivity, reduces legal liability, and optimizes the use of IT resources. Many additional services such as messaging, file sharing, and streaming video applications, can also be blocked, as determined by the customer.

Antivirus – PCI takes anti-virus protection to the next level, integrating elements of intrusion prevention and firewall technology into a single solution for PCs and file servers. This powerful combination delivers truly proactive protection from the newest of today’s threads - including buffer overflow exploits and blended attacks and features advanced outbreak management responses to reduce the damage and costs of outbreaks. Everything is managed for scalable security policy compliance and graphical reporting.

VoIP – PCI is a PingTone Certified Master Dealer for constructing, selling and managing VoIP services. These VoIP services are supported by Cisco SCCP, SIP, and MGCP in order to offer maximum flexibility in customer applications and business needs,. A unique firewall traversal technology, the Session Border Controller, adds critical NAT and PAT traversal capabilities. Not found in other solutions, this NAT / PAT traversal capability is essential to providing seamless deployments and business-grade quality for work-from-home and satellite employees.

Security

Virtual Private Network (VPN) – PCI is able to offer high level security in an “open” firewalled type environment. We have instituted software to monitor and analyze current configuration for security holes and vulnerabilities to the VPN. PCI also has the ability to monitor the health of every VPN configuration that occurs on the network.

Encryption – According to Blue Ridge Networks press release, 13 June 2006, Proactive Communications, Inc. has built and manages the largest secure, fully meshed VoIP Network in the world. By using the High File and Low File systems on these devices, we are capable of supporting thousands of tunnels and up to 1500 concurrent tunnels at any one time. Since the tunnels are dynamic and save bandwidth by coming up only as needed, this number is unlikely to be obtained even in very large networks.
