Careers at Proactive offer various types of IT and professional challenges. Most IT related positions are "deployable" unless otherwise noted as "non-deployable". Deployable position means the employee must be capable of meeting DOD deployment standards for medical, dental, and personal administrative readiness. Additionally, each employee must be able to obtain an interim security clearance and then pass a follow-on background investigation. Deployed living conditions should be viewed from a "with soldiers" perspective. In most cases, these conditions are austere and in some cases hostile. Senior Network Engineer
Requirements:
Must be able to review, plan, and evaluate network systems. May troubleshoot network systems and recommend improvements to network. Install hardware and new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolves software and hardware related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Must have CCNA and MCP certifications in addition to having MSCE or CCNP certification. Requires a bachelor's degree and 10-12 years of experience in the IT field or in a related area.

Project Manager
Requirements:
Must be able to manage all activities related to the scheduling operations and implementation projects. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must be familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices and procedures. Must be creative and a leader.

Jr. Network Engineer
Requirements:
Must be able to review, plan, and evaluate network systems. May troubleshoot network systems and recommend improvements to network. Must have CCNA or MCP certifications. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Database Engineer
Requirements:
Must be able to review, analyze and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems and reports. May require a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years field experience or 4-6 years of certified experience in the IT field. Certifications include MCSE/A, IA Level 2.

Help Desk Support
Requirements:
Must be able to support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN. Must have MCP certification. May require an associate's degree and 1 yr experience or 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
